414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade "Magyar's Birds" — flagship unit that Robert Brovdi founded and built even before his appointment as Commander of all Unmanned Systems Forces. One of the most effective drone units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by publicly declared metrics.

The unit grew from a volunteer drone formation led by Brovdi (callsign "Madyar") in the early years of the full-scale war. With the development into 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Forces Brigade "Magyar's Birds" became the gold standard for scaling FPV and strike UAV operations. After Brovdi's appointment as USF Commander (June 3, 2025), the brigade remains the core of the grouping.

According to the "Pidrakhuyka" scoreboard (sbs-group.army), as of 05.10.2026, since 21.07.2024 (Pokrovsk rotation) the brigade reports 234,946 targets engaged (115,776 destroyed), 66 282 enemy manpower losses, 704,915 combat sorties (439,327 strike + 265,588 reconnaissance). The brigade is the spearhead of the Crimean isolation campaign: "Kairos" pilots led the Azov tanker battle (21 vessels in 72 hrs) and the energy blockade of the peninsula. In parallel — deep strikes on refineries and fuel–energy facilities in the rear of the RF (see Operations and Strike Map). Campaigns continue: according to the Commander's report of 01.10.2026 (post №2863), since the start of operation "MoLoCHKa" (06.07.2026) 300 shadow fleet vessels engaged (31 in September), and within "Crimean Switch-Off" since 06.07 — 456 energy nodes as of 03.10.2026 (post №2872; 82 in September). On 12 August, USF Birds delivered a combined strike on the naval base, ships, and port infrastructure of Novorossiysk; according to independent satellite imagery analysis by Vantor (Naval News, 13.08.2026), frigates "Admiral Essen" and "Admiral Makarov," a Buyan-M-class corvette, and a Project 22160 patrol ship sustained damage.

On Ukraine's Defenders Remembrance Day, the USF Commander disclosed the brigade's losses: in 4.5 years of full-scale war, 414th Brigade "Magyar's Birds" lost 79 Brothers and Sisters in Arms. For the brigade's latest rotation in the East (July 21, 2024 – August 29, 2026), 50,336 confirmed enemy losses were reported (29,023 killed, 21,313 wounded) — on average 637 engaged or destroyed enemies for each fallen Bird.
"Each face on screen every morning at 9:00. Memorial wall before my eyes at the CP. We remember, we do not forgive, we will not stop," wrote the Commander.

On 13 September Poland's Gazeta Wyborcza published an interview with brigade commander Andriy Klymenko ("Klima") under the headline "Prepare now, or there will be trouble" — about the need for immediate preparation of European countries for drone warfare.
In the September report of Operation "PPOpad" (10–18.09.2026, 2829) several brigade battalions (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th) are named among executors in the list of post №2829 (10–18.09.2026).
In the deep strikes summary for September (26.09.2026, 2850) the brigade is named among participants in strikes on Voronezhsintezkauchuk refinery (25.09), Moskovsky refinery (20.09), Astrakhan gas processing plant (14.09), Slavneft-YANOS refinery (17.09), and Ilsky refinery (26.09) — jointly with 1st USF Operational Center and other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces.
