Monthly USF command snapshot: in September, 61,449 targets hit and 13,358 russian personnel casualties inflicted — the highest monthly personnel loss figure on record (+25.35% vs. August's 11,010). The month unfolded in two parallel registers: operational (two campaigns crossed the 300 mark, deep strikes touched 30 russian fuel & energy complex facilities, the seventh brigade/division-level commander eliminated) and doctrinal (six theses in The Telegraph interview, NATO warning via Swedish SVT, thesis on rf mobilisation of 300k by year end). Every item below is dated, sourced and attributed; claimed and independently confirmed figures are not mixed.

September yielded a targeted, not mass sample: 20 outlets from 20 publications in 17 countries—13 items in the USF press service package plus seven outlets trust-verified by separate web search. Each verified by direct link; where full content confirmation was not possible, this is noted directly.
SVT (Sveriges Television) — Swedish public broadcaster (est. 1956, Stockholm), Sweden's largest broadcaster with high audience trust. Exclusive interview with USF Commander Robert "Magyar" Brovdi in a secret command centre (recorded 22.08) about the work of "Magyar's Birds," strikes deep into rf and warnings to NATO countries about unpreparedness for armed conflict — a thesis the Commander's channel framed the same day as "NATO Article 5 test" (post №2792).
Postimees — Estonia's oldest daily newspaper (est. 1857, Tallinn), part of the largest Baltic media group Postimees Grupp. Fifth Postimees interview in the Estonian cycle (after four in August): main thesis — putin has no way back and cannot stop the war; separately stated that for a drone that has already covered 2,500 km, there is no physical limit for greater range.
The Economist — international weekly English-language magazine (est. 1843, London), one of the world's most influential publications on politics and economics. Editorial report on closed meeting of The Economist journalists with Ukrainian counterparts following a week-long visit to Ukraine — analysis of key challenges, security situation, and preliminary conclusions on the war's further course.
Gazeta Wyborcza — Polish daily political newspaper, authoritative since 1989 (Warsaw), significant reach in paid digital edition. Interview not with Brovdi himself but with his 414th Brigade "Magyar's Birds" commander Andriy Klymenko ("Klima") — on the need for immediate European preparation for drone warfare; Brovdi mentioned as unit commander, not as interviewee.
France TV (France Télévisions) — French national public broadcaster (est. 1992, Paris), France's largest television group, 1.04 million YouTube channel subscribers. Video report on the combat work of long-range strike drone crews of "Magyar's Birds" brigade in Kherson region — preparation and launch of strike drones against logistics and military facilities in deep rf rear.
Süddeutsche Zeitung — leading German daily newspaper (est. 1945, Munich), one of Germany's most influential quality publications with broad international audience. Interview with Robert "Magyar" Brovdi and report on the Armed Forces of Ukraine Unmanned Systems Forces — large-scale use of strike drones against russian occupiers, transformation of the modern battlefield and resistance to the aggressor. Brovdi's third Berlin-Munich profile in two months (after August pieces in Der Tagesspiegel).
NOS (Nederlandse Omroep Stichting) — Dutch public broadcaster (est. 1969, Hilversum), country's leading news broadcaster with highest audience trust. Video report on tactics and mechanism of long-range drone attacks on military-logistics facilities and infrastructure deep inside RF territory — third Dutch appearance in two months after August NRC report.
La Repubblica — Italian daily newspaper (est. 1976, Rome), digital publication with wide audience. Interview with Robert "Magyar" Brovdi about the new wave of Russian mobilization and the role of swarm and autonomous unmanned technologies in neutralizing the numerical advantage of occupation forces—the first recorded publication in the dossier of the thesis "putin mobilizes another 300 thousand," which Hungarian HVG relayed within a day.
HVG — leading Hungarian socio-political and economic news portal, one of Hungary's most authoritative independent media resources. Reprint of La Repubblica interview with Robert "Magyar" Brovdi about rf's intent to mobilise additional reserves and the key role of drones in containing occupying forces.
The Wall Street Journal — leading American daily business and political publication (est. 1889, New York), digital subscription over 3.7 million readers. Interview with USF Commander Robert "Magyar" Brovdi on modern air-warfare technologies, drone-use experience and warnings for the US and NATO on preparation for future conflicts.
TV 2 — leading Danish commercial channel with public broadcasting (est. 1988, Odense/Copenhagen), country's highest television ratings. Report on work of specialized long-range drone unit "Kairos" conducting strike drone launches against military-logistics facilities in deep RF rear; no footage of Brovdi himself.
VRT — Belgian public broadcaster of the Flemish community, live broadcast network. Interview with USF Commander Robert "Magyar" Brovdi about drone warfare threats and the need for rapid rearmament of European countries—critical warnings for Belgium and NATO. Cited figures (10 million drones/year stated requirement, 96% drone strikes, 250,000 missions/month, 85% video-confirmed strikes, €193 billion) and three Belgian airbases as examples (Kleine-Brogel, Elzenborn, Marche-en-Famenne)—stated magnitudes from Brovdi.
The Telegraph — one of the oldest and most influential daily newspapers in the United Kingdom (est. 1855, London), million-strong audience, one of the world's leading quality publications. Text version of exclusive interview (video teaser 27.09, full version 28.09, Commander's channel linked in post №2856) with Robert "Magyar" Brovdi: rf mobilisation plans, scaling strike drones, attacks deep into russia, six theses "priorities of the moment" and recommendations for NATO.
Jauns.lv — Latvian information portal. The Latvian publication cites Brovdi's statements: NATO countries overestimate their readiness for possible Russian aggression and have not adapted to drone warfare; the drone is called "the true plague of the third millennium," and the Baltic states' ability to hold defense even for one day is questionable.
Al Jazeera — pan-Arab television channel and news portal (est. 1996, Doha), one of the largest broadcasters in the Arab world. The pan-Arab broadcaster reported the elimination of RF Major General Anton Grunis in Donetsk on the night of 13.09.2026, citing USF Commander Robert Brovdi's statement that the general was destroyed by an Unmanned Systems Forces unit during a night raid. First Arabic-language outlet in the dossier.
Ukrainska Pravda — Ukrainian internet publication; English-language edition recaps The Wall Street Journal article, which itself remains behind paywall. Citing WSJ: kremlin through post-Soviet criminal networks offered $20 million reward for information on Brovdi's whereabouts. According to him, USF represents only 2.5% of Armed Forces of Ukraine strength but accounts for about a third of rf losses over the past year; since the start of full-scale war, 79 "Magyar's Birds" fighters have been killed.
Hersfelder Zeitung — regional daily newspaper of Germany (Bad Hersfeld, Hesse). German regional publication retells the same Brovdi interview to The Telegraph as the famous "stewed meat" item (28.09): +25% Russian losses compared to August, strikes at distances up to 3,000 km, 27 out of 32 largest Russian refineries attacked (refining capacity reduced by 45%), expected mobilization of approximately 300,000 people.
France Info — news division of France Télévisions. Detailed portrait of Brovdi against backdrop of news about $20 million Russian reward (per WSJ data): 70% trust among Ukrainians for Brovdi according to KMIS poll; USF is 2.5% of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's strength but approximately one-third of enemy losses over the year. The phrase "I don't kill people, I kill vermin" is cited as a quote that France Info itself attributes to Le Monde publication, not its own interview.
Topky.sk — Slovak news portal. Slovak publication emphasizes that Russia itself did not publicly confirm the reward statement, and cites Brovdi's own assessment of loss ratios: "I don't consider this ratio good enough."
15min.lt — one of the largest Lithuanian information portals. Lithuanian publication cites Brovdi's criticism of NATO: as long as the Alliance limits itself to rhetoric of "concern" without concrete actions, it remains a weak player. Mentioned are 25% increase in Russian losses since August, Russia's intention to mobilize approximately 300,000 more people, $20 million Russian reward for information on Brovdi, and strikes at depth up to 3,000 km into Russian territory.
Commander's channel published video interview with Swedish public broadcaster SVT (recorded 22.08 at hidden command center): NATO countries are not ready for drone warfare, relying on "blind faith in non-attack" is unacceptable, the situation will become a test of Article 5. Video garnered one of the channel's largest reach figures for September.
Defence Forces combined strike with USF participation on Novorossiysk naval base (multiple vessels lost, incl. missile carriers); separately, 1st USF Operational Center Birds in Anapa/Gelendzhik area destroyed carrier-based Su-33, Mi-8 helicopter and 2 radars (S-300/400). As of morning 09.09: 3,395 personnel and 16,720 targets for September (8 days, 411/day, +16% vs. August's 355); at sea — another +13 shadow-fleet vessels in the Black Sea.
Russian Major General Anton Grunis, who in July reported the capture of Kostiantynivka, was eliminated on the night of 12 September on TOT Donetsk Oblast by forces of 427th USF Brigade "Rarog" — the seventh confirmed military leader at brigade commander/division commander/army commander level eliminated by USF Birds.
Operation "AADdrop-2026" in 261 days successfully engaged exactly 300 units/systems of Russian air defense with video confirmation: 162 SAM/SPAAG + 124 radars + 14 EW. Jubilee 300th target — Buk-M3 SAM system near settlement Ukrainka, TOT Zaporizhzhia Oblast; 26 units added for 10-18.09 (37 for 01-18.09).
Operation "MiLkMaiD" continues eleven weeks (06.07-22.09): 300 shadow fleet vessels of Russia hunted down and disabled in Azov (134) and Black (166) seas. Azov Sea and Kerch Strait — under full control; northern/northeastern part of Black Sea operates under "maybe we'll slip through" regime.
During second ten-day period of September, +38 energy nodes engaged (10 in Crimea, 9 — TOT Donetsk, 13 — TOT Luhansk, 4 — in Russia, 1 each — Kharkiv/Zaporizhzhia oblasts); total for 2.5 months of operation (06.07-22.09) — 412 energy nodes.
Traditional monthly quota of 10,000 Russian manpower losses completed by USF Birds in 24 days of September (10,187 on scoreboard as of 9:00 24.09) — "compressed 24/30 tariff." Over 70% of losses concentrated on Dobropillia/Pokrovsk (4,018) and Oleksandrivka/Huliaipole (3,021) directions.
Deep strike summary for September: 30 oil refining, petrochemical, fuel and port facilities of Russia struck from 01.09 to 26.09 — including Moskovsky Refinery (twice), Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, Novoshahtinsky, both Ufa refineries, Kuybyshev, Syzran, Saratov (twice), Tuapse, Taneco, Novorossiysk Naval Base, Makhachkala port, Olya terminal and four fuel depots in Belgorod/Voronezh oblasts.
The Commander's channel published the full version of The Telegraph interview (teaser—27.09): 85% of battlefield targets hit by drones; 95% of USF efforts—tactical front level, 5%—deep strikes (Deep Strike + MiddleStrike); Deep Strike goal—transfer war to rf territory through three effects (financing, production, morale); shadow fleet—source of war financing; long-range operations create stronger negotiating position for Ukraine.
Commander's Month: for September 61,449 targets hit (every 42 seconds — a target) and 13,358 rf personnel casualties inflicted (every 194 seconds — 1 casualty), +25.35% over August's 11,010; daily average 445 (August — 355), verified in "Delta". Per infographic: "MoLoCHKa" +31 vessels, "PPOpad" +44 air defense elements (15 SAM systems/SPAAG + 29 radar/EW/comms), "Crimean Switch off" +82 energy nodes for September.
For reporting period 24.09-03.10, +44 energy nodes worked (17—Crimea, 14—TOT Donetsk, 6—TOT Zaporizhzhia, 5—TOT Luhansk, 1 each—Kharkiv/Kherson oblasts); in three months of operation (06.07-03.10)—456 energy nodes. As of 03.10, after completion of September reporting period.
Overview of all USF campaigns in one place — on the page Campaigns.
During first week of September, +34 energy nodes worked in Crimea, South and East TOT (substations, traction substations, gas distribution stations); cumulatively from 06.07 to 09.09—374 energy nodes.
In ten weeks of operation (06.07-11.09), 285 watercraft of rf shadow fleet hunted in Azov and Black Seas (July 206+9, August 54, 01-11.09—16); Azov Sea and Kerch Strait—under full control, northeastern part of Black Sea—in "maybe we'll slip through" mode.
Independent media project United24 describes episode of operation "MoLoChKa": Ukrainian naval drone evaded fire from Russian helicopter and hit rf shadow fleet vessel—tactical illustration of claimed 285 vessels of campaign as of mid-September.
Maritime trade publication Baird Maritime reports USF claimed results of operation "MoLoChKa"—300 rf shadow fleet vessels taken out in 11 weeks (06.07-22.09)—for maritime industry audience; publication has no independent count.
Independent confirmation of deep-strike effect: Syzran refinery shut down CDU-6 (71% of plant capacity), Saratov refinery shut down; combined capacity of the two plants — 290k barrels/day; outlets estimate 3 of rf's 6 largest diesel refineries (Kirishi, NORSI, Volgograd) shut down or operating at ~25% capacity. The Moscow Times — editorial in exile, not rf official source.
Analytical frame of post: interview recorded 22.08 with Swedish public broadcaster SVT expands addressee of Brovdi's doctrinal warnings from Baltics (August Postimees) to entire NATO northern flank. Thesis unchanged from August: "blind faith in non-attack" impermissible, situation will test Alliance readiness to execute Article 5.
Commander reports +25.6% verified in "Delta" growth in rf manpower destruction in first two weeks of September versus two weeks of August (6,280 versus 4,998; 419/day versus 355/day in August) and states forecast: rf plans to mobilize additional 300,000 personnel by year end—exactly double average monthly replenishment January-August 2026 (70,000/month versus 35,000). Lion's share of results in 15 days—Dobropillia (1,806), Huliaipole (1,927) and Pokrovsk (617) axes.
Full version of The Telegraph interview formulates six doctrine theses: (1) 85% confirmed battlefield hits—by drones; (2) 95% of USF efforts—tactical front level, 5%—deep strikes (Deep Strike + MiddleStrike); (3) Deep Strike goal—transfer war to rf territory, in 2026 effectively removing concept of "safe rear" in European part of rf; (4) three Deep Strike effects—war financing, weapons production, adversary morale-psychological state; (5) rf shadow fleet as financing source—"country without classic fleet capable of stopping adversary shadow fleet"; (6) long-range operations create stronger negotiating position for Ukraine for political leadership.
Summary post converts monthly figures (61,449 targets, 13,358 personnel) into time metric: every 42 seconds of September the Birds effectively hit enemy target, every 194 seconds (3 min 14 sec)—one personnel loss. Daily average 445 personnel equals full assault strength of one rf battalion per day—per post reading, about five enemy brigades "erased" per month.
Independent confirmation of Brovdi's doctrinal export: per outlet data, four NATO countries (names not disclosed for security reasons) creating own drone formations modeled on USF—continuation of August Baltic thesis to level of Alliance official military planning.
Academic analysis center of West Point Military Academy examines USF doctrine through prism of operation "Vivaldi"—network-centric "sensor-shooter" model, which Commander publicly called "Smart War" back in August; Brovdi mentioned in material but not directly quoted.
Materials in the "October Preview" section were released after September ended (01–09.10.2026) and are not part of the September row. October is ongoing: figures are interim, as of 09.10.2026, and will be covered in the October issue.
Commander states that putin "not about peace" and uses pause in negotiation process as window of opportunity for rocket-drone strikes on Ukraine rear against backdrop of weak 2026 front successes; calls to rely on own strength, warns of Defense Forces countermeasures in response.
rf Investigative Committee announced international search for Brovdi, additionally charging him with drone strikes on beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka, on Nizhnekamsk and on vessels on Volga-Caspian Canal—public statement of IC rf itself about past events, not new USF operational information.
Ukraine MFA called Russian "international search" for Brovdi and other officials propagandistic and legally void, recalling active ICC warrants for arrest of putin and other rf leaders.
The USF grouping has struck over 400,000 enemy targets since the beginning of 2026—at the time of publication, the counter on the "Pidrakhuyka" scoreboard showed 404,924 targets (October milestone, after September closed).
Commander's daily report for 04.10.2026: 637 rf personnel strikes per day — new USF formation record; same day saw 2,783 unique targets struck, for 01–04.10 — 2,201 personnel and 9,688 targets. Official channel @usf_army (post №2519) specifies: over 26 strikes per hour, of which 301 destroyed. Record belongs to October, not September.
Overview @usf_army for September: USF units struck objects hundreds and over a thousand kilometers deep into rf territory — at least 16 objects struck; operators from 1st USF Operational Center, 412th NEMESIS Brigade, 413th "Raid" Regiment, and 414th "Magyar's Birds" Brigade participated. Among objects — TANEKO, Moscow, Perm, Saratov, Ryazan, Yaroslavl, Ilsky refineries; Novorossiysk and Makhachkala; Tolyatti and Voronezh.
USF Commander reports a surge in attack density at the start of October: confirmed irrecoverable and sanitary enemy manpower losses in Delta system for 01–05.10 rose 39.7% vs. 01–05.09 (2,699 vs. 1,931) and 76.5% vs. 01–05.08 (1,529); largest increase — in the 1st Azov NGU Corps zone (Dobropillia-Pokrovsk axis): 1,268 vs. 884 (+43%) and vs. 664 (+91%). Commander presents the "hidden mobilization" thesis as his statement.
On the night of 08.10.2026, USF struck the "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" oil refining complex in the Republic of Bashkortostan (capacity up to 10 million tons of feedstock per year); fire recorded, damage extent being clarified. Distance to target — approximately 1,300 km.
